In today's rapidly evolving global environment, business leaders are facing higher stakes for success and failure. The role of the manager is no longer heroic, as information and responsibility are shared throughout teams and work units. Economic factors result in fewer resources available to be applied to business problems, and decision-making is often pressure-filled and complex. Thus it is more important than ever that executives understand how to leverage their personal leadership strengths and move their organizations forward.
As a developmental tool for obtaining superior leadership results, Performance Learning's Executive Coaching provides an individualized learning approach for reaching desired outcomes and building strong leaders.
PROCESS
A Performance Learning executive consultant works with the executive participant to facilitate a process of assessment that includes identification of issues to be addressed. A development action plan is created and communicated by the executive to management, with the guidance and support of the executive coach. Individual coaching sessions are then provided to ensure full implementation of the plan. Together, the executive and the coach will create a program that will advance the executive's strengths, minimize weaknesses, enhance positive performance, increase competitiveness, and help the executive to achieve greater business results.
The Executive Coaching Process will typically consist of the following:
Definition meeting(s) with the participant's direct manager, human resources, and others when appropriate
Understanding of the executive's own beliefs and values, and how they can be applied to personal and organizational leadership
Participation in assessment
Feedback of assessment results by consultant to individual being coached
Creation of a Development Action Plan
Sharing the plan with others to gain support
Coaching sessions as required to implement the plan
